Anbar began as a small shop in Deira, a few steps from the old perfume souk, blending oud and rose oils for customers who knew exactly what they wanted. Over time people asked us to make them perfumes that last through the summer heat and rise in the winter evenings, and so our own blends were born.
Blended by hand
Every perfume in our store is a blend we created — we copy no one and carry no one else’s names. We choose the oils and extracts ourselves and try each blend for weeks on our skin and our customers’ before it reaches the shelves.
Oud from wood to ember
We buy agarwood in pieces and sort it by scent and colour, age our oils before filling them, and knead our bakhoor in the small workshop behind the boutique.

We are open daily from 10:00 to 23:00 on Al Murar Street, Deira. Try the perfumes on your skin, ask for an oil blended to your taste, and have an Arabic coffee while we wrap your gift.
